Hi! My name is Emma, a rising senior at The Williston Northampton School.

(One of my favorite hobbies is ) I have always loved visiting different themed escape rooms, but what charmed me was not just putting clues together. It was how each space could completely change the way how I felt for each spaces. Different lightings, colors, and arrangement created whole different perceptions, making me curious about how the spaces around us shape our daily lives.

As living in a world where aging population is growing, I began wondering whether those same design principles could be used in senior care environments, which eventually inspired this project.

I hope to continue finding ways to use thoughtful design, making everyday life more meaningful and comfortable for others!
